Gibraltar International Song Festival 2013 Tim Garcia: (Gibraltar) Song title: Radio Authors/Composers: Cory Alman, Mark Brooks (Gibraltar) Tim Garcia is a 30-year -old artist whose performances cover a wide spectrum of musical genres,including pop, rock, adult contemporary, acoustic and musical theatre. Tim was the inaugural winner of the Gibraltar stagestruck musical theatre competition and was the recent runner-up (and winner of the Best Lyrics Award, adjudicated by The Gibraltar Chronicle) in the Rock on the Rock Singer-Songwriter competition held atthe end of December 202. Tim has recently taken up the bass fora current project and is the bass-playing frontman of Gibraltarian fock band, Fuse (who are working on original material for a forthcoming album)
This was the first time the Detached Mole has ever been activated, please note this was a low power operation below 30w, using battery power. The antenna was a vertical 6m long fishing rod type. As from 20th January the station will be offering a service in both English and Spanish during the afternoon, giving listeners a choice of programmes. Paul Grant will host a new 4 hour show from 2 -- 6pm (on 91.3 and 92.6FM, online, Freeview, and on DAB+) and Teresa Goncalvez, assisted by Nicky Ryan and Christian Santos, will continue the station's decades-long tradition of providing a service in Spanish between 2 and 4pm on the newly branded 'Radio Gibraltar Plus' (100.5FM, 1458AM, online and on DAB+).
